What Happens at GradO
Grad O is a full day of panel discussions, presentations, and interactive activities. You’ll hear from faculty, staff, and current students. You’ll have the chance to meet other students and campus service providers over the lunch hour. See the schedule for the Winter 2017 Orientation.

Extended Orientation
The Faculty of Graduate Studies is working hard to promote and offer great social events, workshops and sessions designed specifically for first year grad students! From social events where you can meet other grad students over free coffee and cookies, to safe spaces in which to discuss the joys and challenges of adjusting to life in Canada for international students, to sessions where we can brainstorm managing supervisory or academic issues, we’ve got you covered!
International Student Services (ISS)
ISS offers an orientation for international students for living in Calgary. This session provides information on ID cards, Bank Accounts, immigration and work, social insurance numbers, taxes, health care and more. This orientation will be on Thursday, January 5, 2016
