Eye on Ideas

New ideas, discovery and perceptions of the world are at the heart of every student's journey at the University of Calgary-the length and breadth of the experience is just greater at the graduate level. With the plethora of changes and new discoveries underway at the University of Calgary, we wanted to create a forum for profiling some of these ideas and journeys; hence Eye on Ideas was conceived.

Our vision is one of an inclusive and dynamic publication. We encourage article submissions from graduate students about their ideas and work; editorial perspectives from faculty and staff members linked with graduate work; or undergraduate students contemplating graduate research in the future. We also welcome profiles and perspectives on graduate research scholarships and awards, and the donors behind them. On-going features will include profiles of graduate student research; new graduate initiatives; graduate student and faculty profiles; awards and scholarships; events; and faculty profiles.

Our intent is to publish three issues of Eye on Ideas annually: in the spring/summer, fall and winter. It will be distributed primarily electronically, but also in print, to graduate students and alumni, faculty members and staff, external donors and stakeholders, and international partners.
