Scholarships & Awards

The Faculty of Graduate Studies offers a number of scholarships to new students through the annual Entrance Competition. Valued between $26,000 to $35,000, these scholarships are open to Canadian and International Students.
The Tri-Council is made up of three granting agencies that provide research funding for high caliber Master’s and Doctoral students.These are amongst the most prestigious awards in Canada and are open to Canadian and International Students.
International students are eligible to apply for many of the awards administered through the Graduate Scholarship Office. This section reviews the internal and external funding that is available to international students.
